Week 8
the 9 H-miracles – 50 days old
Oh yes, it’s there……..week 8……..
‘Our week’ – without visiting families.
But with outings and preparations for the first ones to leave us.
We weren’t lucky with the wheather, so weren’t able to do all we wanted to.
But we did go cardriving a few times – and that gave no problems what so ever.
In a bench on the backseat, auntie Hniña de Besos next to them and mum Djaya de Besos on the
floor between the front chairs and the backseat – her favorite spot.
For a while thay sat straight up, with a look asking ‘what then is this..??, but soon they lay down and
didn’t make a sound; didn’t get sick either.
Couldn’t be else > our miracles are afflicted with ‘kilometer genes’…….
During the last ride, last minute decided to stop at a garden centre. There we crossed around in a
shopping cart > having fun rattling and bumping around and……ofcourse being admired and being
petted by loads of hands > this brave pack truely enjoyed it!
This week we also celebrated birthday nr 6 of auntie Hniña de Besos
With us, amongst other things, this is done with cream cake.
And yes, the H-miracles also were to enjoy it > yummy-yummy they found that to be!

During the past weeks part of their upbringing was that – small – children came to visit.
That every time was great fun, the puppies as well as the children enjoyed eachother
This week however, they were visited by a very special little girl
> she even helped feeding them their cheese
a special visit from a very sweet little girl
And this week….all of a sudden …there was SNOW! Really!
Where we live it wasn’t much however.
So I quickly put the H-miracles outside to get acquainted with it.
Well, they loved it – like a true Schapendoes does.
But when they started snacking from it, got them back in fast.
first introduction to snow
Last weekend, 4 of the 9 H-miracles left us – they took off to live with their new families.
As everyone knows, our miracles are never allowed to eat from one big bowl and/or to steal food
from their neighbour.
But that last evening eating together……..they for once are allowed to!
After the first amazement it was ‘smakelijk eten’.
We call this the ‘Last Supper’……..
the ‘Last Supper’ – eating from one foodbowl
So, 4 of them left us last weekend.
The journey home for all of them was without any problems, they soon fel asleep.
The first night and day with their new family also was reasonably well : they all are getting to know
eachother and to simply be happy with eachother. We are very content that all works out well again.
To see them drive away……….it’s never easy…..
But this time mama Djaya de Besos had a hard time seeing them go : ever since early Saturday
morning she had been running around the penn, but did not want to go in, she was zo tense…….she
even vomitted……
And that went on all during the weekend…….my poor sad girl…..
Now we have 5 miracles left with us.
They now have a different ‘living’ and slowly ar getting used to the different composition of the
pack – I noticed they did at first find it to be strange. But they now are okay with it.
now just 5 H-miracles
different living quarters
That was week 8…………………………….still quiet a few ahead of us
More……………………………………..next time
