Week 3

Raise the flag!

Vlag-1

For Ke-sera de Cocó’s Hijo is now eating out of my hand and drinking from the waterbowl. After I last Tuesday was eating an old-fashioned Dutch – but this time “vegetarian” – beefdish called Hachee > due to Ke-sera de Cocó’s Hijo suddenly showing interest in the meat she found her way back to eating normal. Such a relief.

week3-1

She clearly has a little more energy and can now also manage to show some more attention to her puppies and to – besides doing what needs to be done – just simply lie down with them to cuddle. She also started joining the other dogs in going for a walk. She does not yet want the other dogs near to her puppies though, only her daughter Ròsa Ke-sera now has unlimited access to “our side of the room”.

week3-2

The puppies are doing fine, due to the bad start with mum they have a little lag in comparition to former litters. But in the meantime all eyes are open, they waggle accross the birthbox on legs becoming stronger day by day and they have had a taste to their first “other “ food. Which they loved and clearly tasted like having more And we also had the first escape out of the birthbox.

By now you slowly notice little differences appearing between the doggies, one really wanting to be first with everything, a few others who get their way by using thier weight and strength, the girls being true girls and behaving that way.

week3-3

week3-4

Now that they are 3 weeks old the time has come to enlarge their livingworld, and so the front of the birthbox has been opened up and a small area in front of the birthbox has been added to it by using a puppy-fence >
Let’s start the party!
